🌟 OUR STORY
English Café Malta began in 2014 as a simple idea — a small, one-off gathering to bring people together. What started as a handful of students and expats meeting casually soon grew into something much bigger. Step by step, we expanded, adding new weekly events, themed parties, and weekend excursions. People loved the concept: a place where internationals in Malta could meet, make friends, and share experiences in a welcoming atmosphere.
Like everyone, we faced the challenges of COVID-19, when events and social life came to a standstill. But our community spirit stayed alive, and as soon as it was possible, English Café Malta came back stronger than ever. Today, we host events every day of the week — from social meetups and karaoke nights to rooftop parties, hikes, and trips to Malta’s most beautiful spots. More than just events, we’ve grown into a vibrant international community that continues to connect thousands of people every year.
